Arrive at guwahati Airport/station and transfer to shillong. En route visit Umiam Lake-created by damming the Umiam River in the early 1960s. Overnight in shilong.
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion trip to Cherapunjee it is the tradition capital of the Nongkhlaw hima(Khasi tribal Chieftainship) Known as sohra or Churra. visit duwan sing syiem viewpoint, Noh Kalikai Falls, Mawsmai caves, seven sister falls, Eco Park, etc. Later drive back to shillong. overnight in shillong
After breakfast, start a full day local sightseeing in shillong including The city's own ward's lake, the Botanical Garden, and Lady Hydari Park. The state museum is a display of the lifestyle and heritage of the people of megahalaya(closed on sunday). Shillong is dotted with splendid waterfalls cascading down deep valleys forming mistry sparks as they break the silence of the surroundings. Elephant Falls is a mountain stream gorging down two successive falls set in dells of fern-covered rocks. For the bird's eye View of shillong, one can take a stand at shillong peak.Overnight in shillong.
After breakfast transfer to kaziranga. It was declared a National Park in 1974 and UNESCO declared Kaziranga a World Heritage site in 1985. The park hosts two-thirds of the world's population of Rhinos. Overnight in Kaziranga.
Morning enjoy jeep Safari inside the National park. Apart from the Rhino, Other Species found are hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants, and if youare lucky, the tiger. After breakfast at the hotel, you can visit tea plantations and rubber Plantations. Afternoon enjoy a jeep safari in the central range.Evening at leisure. Overnight in Kaziranga.
